Almost all marine animals suffer from plastic – especially microplastics. But humans and land animals are also affected. That’s why the EU has banned single-use plastic products.
For us Greens, Zero Waste remains the goal. In the future, no more waste should be produced, and we want to stop wasting resources alltogether. Products should be designed in such a way that their individual components and materials can be easily reused and recycled after use.
By amending the Waste Management Act in Saxony-Anhalt, we want to reduce the amount of mineral waste. In this way, we are also preventing new landfills in Saxony-Anhalt.
